On the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, on August 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the country from the Red Fort’s ramparts. Prior to India’s 75th anniversary of its Independence Day, extra preparations are being undertaken at the Red Fort in this case. Ajay Bhatt, a minister of state for defence and tourism, honoured NCC cadets on Thursday at the Red Fort in New Delhi during the Independence Day festivities’ dress rehearsal. The Red Fort is making special preparations in advance of the Independence Day festivities. At the Red Fort, Tri-Seva jawans and students are practising for the Independence Day celebration, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
On Thursday, volunteers in the Jalpaiguri district waved the tricolour as part of the honourable prime minister’s “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. In addition, several youngsters took part in a programme run by the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign on Wednesday at the Sports Stadium in Pulwama, ahead of the celebrations for Independence Day.

School Students Selected For Independence Day Parade
A Vijayanagar student has been chosen to participate in the Independence Day Parade in Delhi on August 15. Participating in the procession is Sai Tejaswini, a B.Sc.CBZ student and NCC cadet from Hospet Nagar College. The college administration, teachers, and NCC students have sent Sai Tejaswini their best wishes.
About 200 tricolours were placed under each house tricolour, and schoolchildren received T-shirts with SAIL-marked individuals and symbolic hats for the Independence Nectar Festival in white. The public was captivated by a children’s street play show that promoted cleanliness and the Beti Padhao theme. Leaders of the street play Prabhat Pheri included Deepak Prakash, general manager of SAIL, Narendra Kumar Jha, senior manager Amit Tirkey, SP Das, Smriti Ranjan Swain, and several other SAIL personnel. The crowd appreciated the Prabhat Pheri street drama.
