Google Pixel Earbuds news leaked ahead of Google event. Google is set to launch a new pair of Pixel earbuds on Oct. 9. Google’s Pixel 3 smartphone was unveiled earlier this month and is arguably the most highly anticipated Android device of the year.
The hardware is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and has a wide range of features including face detection and a new Active Edge feature that allows users to squeeze the handset’s sides to summon the Google Assistant.

The Android creator is set to launch a new pair of Pixel earbuds at its hardware event on Oct. 9, according to a fresh leak. In a post on Weibo, a Chinese social network, a woman claims she has seen the hardware ahead of its official unveiling. As pointed out by Droid Life, the clip shows a pair of Pixel Buds appearing to have magnets in the case that will clip in and out of a charging cradle.
The person who originally shared the clip claimed they had seen the product at a store in Shenzhen, China. An image of the packaging leaked earlier this month to suggest the earbuds would retail at $159 (£118).
