WekaIO has significantly reduced time to convergence from hours to minutes, dramatically reducing lag time and allowing teams to work faster, more efficiently,” said Erik Coward, chief architect of Zerynth.
“WekaIO’s interoperability with software-defined storage and the Microsoft Azure Platform is a game-changer for interconnecting thousands of Zerynth NanoPacks for IoT devices, microcontrollers, and FPGAs within a single system.
How it’s Work?
WekaIO’s NXP i.MX 7 multicore coprocessor provides up to 16x higher performance, with 30x lower latency and a 10x higher IOPS than the previous generation E4600. The Microsemi ESD-protected PCIe card delivers up to 400MB/s of throughput for optimal caching of I/O requests. The Accelerators are optimized for seamless integration into the research lab workflows of Microsoft and Zerynth’s customers.
With an open standard architecture, the Accelerators can be easily integrated with the Microsoft Azure cloud, IaaS solutions, and software defined storage solutions. For a limited time, customers can save up to $30,000 in professional licensing costs and $75,000 in equipment costs on the TOPS enterprise cluster.
“Our mission is to accelerate innovation by making developers more productive,” said Rafa Camargo, co-founder, and CEO of WekaIO. “We are pleased to share this demonstration of the flexibility of WekaIO’s network-optimized compute and storage solution for the Microsoft Azure platform with our research partners at Microsoft.
