Sarkar Movie Storyline
Due to his brutal business practises, Sundar Ramaswamy, a highly successful NRI businessman located in the US, is known as a corporate monster. He travels to Chennai to cast his ballot in the election for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He discovers, though, that someone else has cast a ballot in his place beforehand.
The Tamil Nadu State Election Commission agrees to Sundar’s requests for a stay on the election results for his constituency, the cancellation of the fraudulent voter’s vote, and the opportunity to cast a genuine ballot. He educates the public about voting fraud and discovers that many other people experienced a similar issue when attempting to cast a ballot.
Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Masilamani, his daughter Komalavalli, his brother, and fellow politician Malarvannan “Rendu” rejoice at his victory. Sundar reconnects with Nila, his brother’s estranged sister-in-law, on his visit to his family. Masilamani gets bags filled with black money in the meanwhile. When he sees a journalist named Muthukumar hiding inside one of the suitcases to document proof of Masilamani’s wrongdoing, he murders him and buryes the case.
Due to his activities, Sundar is at odds with Masilamani and Rendu. Despite Masilamani’s party winning the election, the Election Commission annuls the outcome in response to Sundar’s request for a recount, and new elections are set for the next 15 days.
