Singapore Badminton Open League: India’s PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal have advanced to the badminton quarterfinals of the Singapore Badminton Open. In the second round of the men’s singles series in the Singapore Badminton open, the 19th-ranked HS Pranai of India defeated the fourth-seeded SN Chen of Chinese Taipei 14-21, 22-20, and 21-18 to advance to the quarterfinals. In the women’s singles, Indian PV Sindhu defeated Chinese Saina Nehwal, the ninth seed, 21-19, 11-21, 21-17, and Vietnamese Linh Nguyen, 19-21, 21-19, 21-18. Qualifying rounds. PV Sindhu thrashes Vietnam in the Singapore Badminton Open Series
Vietnam was defeated in the Singapore Badminton Open Series by BV Sindhu. Saina Nehwal of India defeated the Chinese opponent in the same manner.
Singapore: The Singapore Badminton Open competition is now taking place there. The second-round match of the women’s singles will feature Hu Bing Xiao of China versus Saina Nehwal of India. Saina triumphed in this match 21-19, 11-21, 21-17, and advanced to the quarterfinals. Thu Linh Nguyen of Vietnam was defeated by PV Sindhu of India in a different match. After winning PV Sindhu advanced to the quarterfinals.
With 19-17 behind in the second set, Sindhu was in trouble after being taken off guard by her lower-ranked opponent in the first game. She fought back, though, and scored four points in a row to force a decision.
